Europa 7

Welcome to a remote research base on Jupiter's moon Europa. You've been hiding in the basement level since aliens attacked 12 hours ago. Your only hope of escape is an emergency escape rocket at the surface, can you reach it before the aliens find you too?

Europa 7 is a rogue like survival game where you must make your way up through the levels of the research base to get to the surface. Unfortunately there's no weapons on the base so you'll need to use whatever you can find to defeat the aliens and escape.

This game was created in 7 days for the March 2021 7DRL game jam but has since had some minor updates and bug fixes, see details below in the updated section.

How to play

• Left click to move, pickup items, open doors, or attack enemies.
• Right click to throw items.
• Click on the selected inventory item to consume it, i.e. eat food, heal.
• Change the selected inventory item by clicking on the image above or below the selected item.
• Escape to pause the game.

Updated 5 April 2021

There have been a number of minor changes since the game jam ended which are now available in version 1.1 which can either be played via the browser or downloaded. If you still want to play the game jam version download the 1.0 version labelled "Game Jam Version". 

The fixes and changes include:

• Bug fixes with models and textures.
• Enemies now patrol.
• Added missing robot enemy that was modelled during the jam but not finished.
• Additional sound effects.
• Minor level generation changes.
• Added game completed cut scene with player escaping on rocket.
