Evil Mutant Gummy Bears

A mad scientist with good intentions has messed up and has accidentally created an army of evil mutant gummy bears, hell bent on taking over the world. You find yourself dropped right in the middle of the unfolding disaster, can you stop it or will we be replaced on the evolutionary food chain.

This is an early prototype a new FPS game I'm currently working on. It can probably be described as a little retro - a bit like me. The design is heavily influenced by the original Half Life which I enjoyed playing in my youth. I'm aiming to bring out a new version every week or two. Please have a look and leave comment below.

Update 4 September 2021 - Version 0.2.0

• Added a new first level inside an office building
• Improved level transitions slightly
• A web build to try before you download, if you find it lags a bit I suggest trying the Windows build.

Update 12 July 2021 - Version 0.1.5

• Added a new sewer level - can you find the entrance?
• Player state and weapons are now saved between levels
• Added footstep sounds based on the surface you're walking on
• Fixed issue with sound effects always playing in 2d mode due to an incorrect spatial blend mode.

Update 20 June 2021 - Version 0.1.2

• Red gummy bears now breath fire
• Added player damage indicators to show where the damage is coming from
• Added a rescue goal which rewards you with random loot for each NPC rescued
• Added a medic who can heal the player and any hurt NPC's.

Update 30 May 2021 - Version 0.1.1

• Added more buildings that you can enter and explore
• Improved scene transitions
• Added doors to buildings - ('E' to open or close)
• Added handrails to stairs
• Improvements to enemy AI
• Added Police officers to the level who attack the gummy bears when they come close. You can lead them to a position using the 'E' key.
• Added muzzle flashes to the weapons.

Controls

• Mouse to look
• Arrows or wasd to move
• Space to jump
• Left click to shoot
• Right click to use scope
• Number keys to change weapons, 1:Handgun, 3:Riffle, 8: Grenade (more weapons to follow)
• "E" to open doors or request civilians and police to follow you or stop
