K9 Pursuit

K9 Pursuit is my entry into the 2021 GMTK game jam where the theme was "Tied together". You control a police dog and his handler trying to catch up with a robber while avoiding obstacles and collecting items.

The dog and handler are tied together by the dog's lead and your only control of either character is to make them jump. If either hit an object them the game is over and you'll need to start again.

To gain points the dog can collect bones and the police officer can collect money bags. The dog cannot collect money bags and the officer cannot collect bones.

Controls

• Up arrow makes the dog jump
• Space bar makes the police officer jump

The length of time you hold either jump button controls how high the respective character jumps.
